If my vitreous humour gets any darker...

A poorly folded herb is a wrinkle in thyme. Yes i know - that's deminted.

Good morning!

Nothing like making French onion soup at 7 am!

People think this was always a really fancy, bougie soup - but in reality, it's peasant food. You need beef stock - easily made from beef bones, super cheap then; onions; thyme; butter or oil; a splash of wine.

All easy peasant stuff.

I was one of the people who downloaded it, and having read through it, it's full of hope and 'can-do' - we're in an apt but have a big old pot outside with marjoram, mint & thyme: one little haven. Luckily I'm not a tidier :D. Thanks for the guide, hoping to build soon, native hedging planned!

A jazz-tinged neo-soul track filled with warm, tender melodies, "Autumn Days" by Thyme Flies (pronounced 'time flies') and Djaliviah is totally engrossing. I hadn't heard of these artists and so I was naturally intrigued. As I found out, they are newcomers from the Netherlands -- Thyme Flies is a producer and Djalivia a singer. "Autumn Days" a really beautiful (and special) anthem for autumn, which is Djalivia's favourite season.

Love that you grow your own herbs! I can't seem to keep my sage and thyme growing properly for more than 6 months. Cilantro, oregano, and chives do very well for me.

Oregano is so good for digestion and anti-bad-bacteria !

Have you tried to freeze your base sauce? If so, does it work out?

For lunch, with rice and an egg. But the cooking method was to boil them for 15 minutes and then simmer for 2 hours after soaking most of the day. I seasoned mostly with dried stuff because I was too lazy to go to the store. (Parsley, thyme, summer savory, marjoram, borage, dried onion, garlic.)

My husband, the avowed carnivore, will side with whomever declares turkey awful.
We redeem obligatory turkey day w a roulade of turkey breast stuffed with either Mexican chorizo (not Spanish!) or andouille plus caramelized onions with thyme. 'nduja might work, too. Sausage saves the day.

Fortifying store-bought broth with aromatics, pink salt, pepper, bay leaf, thyme, flat leaf, Thai basil, celery, carrot, garlic, shallot, red wine vinegar, honey, fish sauce, rotisserie chicken carcass.

After simmering for an hour or so I will strain before I add my other ingredients.

What kind of tea would you like? I have Perfect Thyme, Strained Cloves, and Empress Supreme & Liquorice. It contains a flower that slowly blossoms over five minutes.

Cook the wine down a bit, just till it stops smelling like alcohol. This will mellow the flavor. Then you can add the broth (I assume you’re using beef broth?). I also recommend fresh thyme. Are you making the cheese toasts to put on top?
