My #MultipleSclerosis manifests neurologically so it feels like I’m often waiting for more functional brain ‘days’ to be able to do tasks that used to be easy

Today is the 1st time in weeks that my 🧠 seems somewhat functional. Hoping it lasts long enough to get some of my to-do-list done🤞🏻

MS meme: “Put on a pair of heavy gardening gloves, pick up a pencil, then stab yourself in the arm with it.” I read it & laughed. Today I dropped a pencil on the floor and with my heavy MS hands, managed to pick it up, then stabbed myself in the hand with it. I didn’t laugh.🤬 #ThisIsMS #MS #FUMS

I use to wonder if this was a bit of an exaggeration but, the amount of effort it now takes to just keep my body sitting upright long enough to go to one sporting event with my husband is mind-boggling.

Remember that feeling stuck doesn’t mean you’ve stopped moving. It might be exactly the moment you need to pause, reassess, and steer with intention.
