I find the rat-flood scene to be less plausible than the electrified fence. It takes a lot for me to find something to be less plausible than that electric fence.

Their baby was born to the sound of hundreds of giant rats, screaming as they drowned. Later in life, he would wonder at that terrible partial memory that he could not place, but his parents would say nothing!

I always look for the good in these movies.
Marjoe Gortner’s Jeep looks like it would be fun to drive.
Also, nice shots of the ferry ride. I did not expect them to be the best part of the movie, but they were nice.

Is it just me, or does the director really like shooting scenes of Marjoe in that fleece jacket, sitting in his jeep riding the ferry. We are a half hour into the movie, and I think there have been 3 shots so far. 🤨
