A hand sewn embroidery on cream fabric, still in its embroidery hoop. The neat sewing features the phrase ‘solidarity is survival’ forming a circular design. Inside the word survival is a tree whose roots become some of the letters. Other letters have tiny delicate leaves growing from them. At the centre of the design is an image of two arms holding hands, one black and one white, with each other.
