I really do love Terushima and he has a happy ending, no worries. But, he also knows what he did 😤
"Your lattes…sir," the tall blond barista said, sounding almost disdainful as he placed two drinks on the counter. Terushima fought the shiver running down his back as he noticed that the foam atop one drink had the image of a cute dog. The other drink's art had Terushima pausing. The barista eyed him down and then picked up the cup. "I'm still learning," he explained with a terrible lie and gave the cup a little shake, dissolving what Terushima was almost certain had been foam telling him to die."Thank you," he said, not wanting to push the subject, and quickly brought the drinks to their table, sliding into a seat across from Yamaguchi. Yamaguchi who…was waving at the intimidating barista that was now glaring in their direction?"That's my friend, Tsukishima," Yamaguchi exclaimed, taking the latte with the dog art from Terushima's hands. He looked down, smiling fondly before taking a sip. "Isn't he talented with his foam art?"

I love them dearly, but KuroDai and OiSuga aren't really rare.

TeruYama as in with Yamaguchi? Cause I recently read a couple of fics with them, and considering how Terushima would retire as captain shortly before Yamaguchi takes over as captain, I'm convinced. (and the dynamic would be delicious)

Book 5 characters are very distinct. I’m still figuring out how to who in hq them. But it could be a MatsuHana vibe. With most hated bad boy Matsukawa and friendly but cheeky Hanamaki.

And idk Terushima much but it can also be TeruYama with confident Yamaguchi and reformed(?) Terushima.

Silver wanted me to introduce a favorite rarepair, so I decided to try my hand at TeruYama which was my 1st rarepair in Haikyuu, tho I've never written them. Kiyoko kind of stole the show tho...! I do have an idea for a continuation from Yamaguchi's PoV, but not sure when.
