she’s way under the second story in the far corner. so i can’t reach her easily to take a pic of her for size reference. but her shell is a lil over 4.5” (117.5mm) and the saucer is 8” across the bottom

bigger tortoises need more space! she’s TINY & needs the least area of any of them

"Van Gogh's Chair" (or 'Vincent's Chair with His Pipe'), a famous oil painting created in December 1888 by the Dutch Post-Impressionist artist Vincent van Gogh. Description and Symbolism Subject and Setting: The artwork depicts a simple, rustic wooden chair with a woven rush seat, set on a bare floor of red-tiled terracotta. On the seat of the chair are placed personal items: his pipe and a pouch of tobacco. A box with the artist's signature, containing sprouting onions, is visible in the background to the left. Technique: Van Gogh used thick application of paint (impasto) and strong color outlines, a style influenced by Japanese prints and Cloisonnism. The vibrant yellow of the chair contrasts with the light turquoise/blue walls. Symbolic Self-Portrait: The painting functions as an indirect self-portrait, representing Van Gogh's personality and values: simplicity, practicality, and a love of nature and homely comforts. The pipe was a constant comfort and companion to him, further emphasizing his presence through an object. A Pair of Paintings: This work was intended as a companion piece to another painting, Gauguin's Chair, created around the same time when the two artists were living and working in Arles, France. Van Gogh used the two contrasting chairs (his simple one in daylight; Gauguin's more elaborate armchair at night with books and a candle) to represent their different personalities and artistic philosophies, which ultimately led to the breakdown of their relationship. I hear ya'. I also previously went through that. We had our entire terracotta sewer line collapse from SWB trying to fix their side and then both sides had to be done and yeah, I had to do tunnelling so it was crazy expensive.
