I want a guy who looks like a blimp, and is capable of literally shattering panes of glass with a belch.

If he can't produce tectonic events with his mouth what's the point, smh.

The tectonic plates of Democratic policies have shifted. The elected officials who don’t acknowledge that will be left behind.

I would not read to much into it in regards of Taiwan.
I would read into it a tectonic shift in Japan now being willing to play an important part in world politics together with their new ally, EU.

"But the ocean is so cold down there!"
Wait... But it's slightly warmer now. A whole 1 degree of pressurised heat. That's more heat per square centimetre.
"But heat rises so it cools slowly!"
However... Warmer oceans, more tectonic movement, more earthquakes, the more massive heat bubbles rise.

Climate's impact on earthquakes: Lake Turkana study highlights connections between tectonics and human evolution
Lake Turkana in northern Kenya is often called the cradle of humankind. Home to some of the earliest hominids, its fossil-rich basin has helped scientists piece together the story of human evolution. ...

New findings indicate that fragments of continents are gradually stripped from below and transported into the oceanic mantle, fueling volcanic activity far from tectonic boundaries.
How continents peel from below to trigger oceanic volcanoes
Earth scientists have discovered how continents are slowly peeled from beneath, fueling volcanic activity in an unexpected place: the oceans.

The Billion Handshake: How the Apple-Google AI Pact Redefines Cybersecurity, Zero Trust, and Who Really Controls Your Data
Introduction: The recent announcement that Apple will pay Google an estimated $1 billion annually to integrate Gemini AI into Siri represents a tectonic shift in the tech landscape. This unprecedented collaboration between two arch-rivals underscores the breakneck pace of AI innovation, forcing even the most proprietary ecosystems to seek external partnerships. From a cybersecurity and identity management perspective, this fusion of AI models across corporate boundaries creates a complex new attack surface, challenging fundamental Zero Trust principles and redefining data sovereignty in the AI era.

This is the physics of climate change in a closed system. The ocean heating is also negatively impacting tectonic plates, increasing the frequency of earthquakes.

Tectonic plates move toward one another at subduction zones. One piece of oceanic crust plus mantle dives beneath another, and continents get dragged along with them.

*I know this is way oversimplified.
