Have created a digital ecosystem - TikTok, YouTube and Instagram - giving them the tools wherever you can. Engaging them at their point of need.
We want more new features, system links, marketing and 2023 Insight - wanted more organic way of creating their own community
Before Covid we had lots of face to face. Now an asynchronous learning.
What does good coaching look like? Moved to also focus on What does the learner actually want?
How do we support people with their tasks and concerns for the role? Worked hard on this. New website CoachCast
We want more better coaches at grassroots so that younger people can have better experiences through coaching.
Our data and insight is telling us we need to do better. We have aimed to drive better long-term learning.

170,000 affiliated coaches. Many thousands working in voluntary roles.
Courses supporting coaching, medics. Safeguarding, referees.
Volunteers have jobs and time poor
Tom explaining that getting pipeline of instructors from public sectors, police, armed forces, but now shifting to retail and IT.
Challenges around instructors can be employed elsewhere, so time for training is difficult.
Dispersed across UK and minimal interaction with peers
