suri has never rly been well-to-do (living paycheck to paycheck with gil from bounty hunting lol) so theyve learned to master the art of stretchin their gil & are awesome at haggling 😌 but! they can also blow their gil on a whim & end up eating ice soup bc of it. so. yes but no LOL #swiftclawLORE

suri is transmasc and nonbinary! their trad suncat upbringing was heavy on gender roles & wasn't too fond of any deviation from norms. they didn't have the words for what they were feeling until they left their tribe at 16 and fell in with other trans ppl in limsa. 💕 love and peace!!

suri has very low magical ability (sad) and is also a stubborn ass so they tend to refuse help. they CAN cast some healing, but it drains them to the point where it's not worth it. they're good at patching themself up & makin their own potions/salves but that only gets them so far!!

suri swiftclaw is being grabbed by their shirt by an unknown party. they say, "that's a pretty big fist you got there. careful with that!", and below, they are immediately swung at by the person holding them by their shirt. they dodge by leaning back, and they look a bit pleased by this turn of events. art of suri wearing a gray shirt and black pants punching to the left. there are notes that say they fight low and dirty (because they're short), they keep their ears back, and they make up for their lack of range with speed and agility. the king of the uppercut! to the right, suri is taunting their attacker by saying "is that all you've got?" but before they can finish speaking, they are punched square in the face. suri's tip: no showboating! this has definitely happened before and it will happen again. art of suri without a shirt on, sitting on a crate. they're pretty badly beaten up from their previous encounter. they have a swollen eye, bloody nose, bruised chest, and a cut on their forearm. they've also been stabbed, but it appears as though they've stitched themself up with thread and a needle. v'kebbe stands behind suri and says, "go see a healer for once, you asshole!" to which suri replies, "hmph. with what gil? anyways, i handled it.". below that is a small doodle of v'kebbe helping clean suri up. suri asks if she's going to glare at them the entire time, and v'kebbe says yes (angry). now quit movin'!

suri has always had a chip on their shoulder abt being perceived as weak/incapable... if u imply this abt them, its water off a ducks back to ur face, but suri holds grudges for AGES. they'll find any excuse to get violent or one-up u when they can. (or to goad u into being violent!)

my favorite running joke for suri is that no one knows they're the WoL. most ppl know the name, but its mostly rumors about what they actually look like. so, for the most part, they dont even get WoL privileges or WoL discounts. it's like this everywhere they go 👇 LOL
