The artist Liesl Walsh has brought to life the piece "Key West Style Homes, Florida Photograph - Digital Photograph" which features the breathtaking Key West and the Florida Keys. The painting's vivid hues and detailed imagery perfectly illustrate the beauty and spirit of this remarkable region. The island of Key West, Florida is filled with architecture full of charm, like these 2 homes which are in the typical Key West design: a 2-story porch, picket fence, shutters, etc. Riding down the street you can see many cute homes, some are painted in bright happy colors. Key West has a rich history. These homes are on Whitehead Street next door to the Hemingway House. Ernest Hemingway lived here in the early 1900's and was a renowned writer who had 6-toed cats roaming his property. His home has a two-story wrap around porch and the first pool built on the island. It sits on the highest elevation on the island and is surrounded by lush tropical gardens. Ernest had a writing office on the second floor of a small building behind his home. Liesl Walsh is the creative mind behind the artwork "Hemingway House Entrance, Key West Photograph - Digital Photograph" which depicts the enchanting Key West and the Florida Keys. The lively colors and exquisite details in this piece truly showcase the region's allure and vibrant atmosphere. The Hemingway House is one of my favorite places in Key West. I love the lush tropical landscsaping and the 2-story wrap around porch. It is a writer's haven full of inspiration. Ernest Hemingway's house had one of the only freshwater pools on the island. Ernest's office was in a separate building behind the house on the second floor. He had a 6-toed cat named Snowball, and today many descendants of his cat roam around the home. This image is also available in black and white. It is also published in my husband's book, "Vagabonds in France", by Michael A. Barry. (We stopped at Key West on the way to Europe. Liesl Walsh, the talented artist, created a stunning artwork called "Sunset at Caspersen Beach, Florida Photograph - Digital Photograph" showcasing the beauty of Key West and the Florida Keys. The vibrant colors and intricate details in this painting beautifully capture the essence and charm of the area. At the southernmost coastline of Venice, Florida is Caspersen Beach. It is a beautiful park of walking trails and a beach dotted with green mossy rocks. It's a lovely place to watch the sunset over the Gulf of Mexico. In this photo the sun shines brightly over the water and casts light onto the green mossy rocks on the shoreline. Tiny shells can be found in the sand. Pink and purple clouds are rolling in. Venice, Florida is one of the few cities in Florida where there is no barrier island at the beach. Venice beaches are known for being a place to find fossilized sharks teeth. Venice is south of Sarasota and Bradenton on the west coast of Florida. The artwork "The Most Beautiful Morning at the Beach, Florida Photograph - Digital Photograph" crafted by artist Liesl Walsh, highlights the picturesque Key West and the Florida Keys. With its bright colors and meticulous details, this painting wonderfully reflects the region's natural beauty and lively spirit. Imagine what would the most beautiful morning on the beach look like? This is what I imagine: beautiful white sand glistening in the sun and feeling it between my toes. Tall grasses swaying in the wind. Hearing the waves as I walk closer to the bright aqua water and the sound of the surf drowning out everything on my mind. Walking along the water as the waves come to shore creating lovely patterns of movement. Seeing cute little birds run along the water dodging waves coming in. Seeing pelicans flying overhead and doing nosedives in the water creating big splashes. White puffy clouds gently rolling across the sky. Feeling the warmth of the sun as it rises in the sky casting a nice yellow glow on the beach and adding sparkle to the water. Everything just melts away being here! I love it. This was my morning here at Nokomis Beach in-between Venice and Sarasota, Florida. This beautiful view is on the Gulf of Mexico on the west coast of Florida. I also have a painterly version of this photo that has impressionist brush strokes and canvas texture.

We did mezcal tastings, learned to surf (caught my first wave on the first try!), made our own chocolate, ate so much good food/drinks, hiked, checked out locally made art, and met so many great locals.
