👆 this. Get the behringer k2 clone for cheaper identical lols. Fantastic dual filter action as comment above. I also recommend Moog subharmonicon and dfam. Semi modular certainly helped broaden the pallette and taught me CV.

Between the six oscillators in the Subharmonicon, the LFO and carrier wave outputs on the ring mod, the Werkstatt oscillator and the ring mod output itself as a novel waveform, this is a ten voice setup! Going to be building walls with this for weeks.

Yeah that’s a fair point. Though if you don’t dabble in modular world (I don’t) there is the odd weird one. I got a Lyra-8 and a Moog Subharmonicon exactly because they were fairly unique. Still struggling with the Lyra-8 to be honest.

If this is true, it really sucks. Moog was the brand that got me into making synth music, and my first foray into modular and subtractive synthesis was with the Subharmonicon, DFAM, and Mother-32.
INmusic just canned most if not all of the Ashville Moog team. This is where Moog was headquartered and where products were assembled. Moog is dead, and I would avoid buying their products from now on.
