Happy birthday! I just finished heir of Strad and it was very fun! I hope we get a sequel story with the cast cause I love them, especially Kah ☺️

Inspired by the unconventional structure of Beethoven's String Quartet No. 14, the Attacca Quartet gave it an equally unconventional preface. And thank you to Bowdoin for providing a month of superb streams during July's brutal heatwaves.

Not because of the WOTC OGL debacle? Not because they harboured two MTG artists who "turned out" to SA? Not because of racist Romani themes in Strad they defended? Not because of AI MTG art? And not because the lead dev of DnD5 is married gay yet DnD has 0 LGBTQAI+ rep while Pathfinder has a lot?

And don't judge me after my last tweet, but here I am playing the Kreutzer Strad #TMF17

Like a strad?

More like simply cranking a Jack-in-the-box.

To mark the 150th anniversary of Samuel Coleridge-Taylor's birth, I interviewed five of today's violinists who are ardent champions of his work.

A joy to research, a joy to write.

I was lucky and my boss gave me a whole collection of stuff like this when I was still brand new to the job! 😁 Speaking of legendary instruments I actually get to hear a Strad this weekend 👀 🎻

(Source : The Strad)

In particular, the theory of the placebo effect, that a world class violinist would be more able to accurately guess (even if blindfolded) just by the feel that one is the Strad, and that that could affect the outcome, whereas an amateur with just 2-3 years' experience would be much more randomized

That Trump would rely on that widely recognized authority on free and fair elections, Vladimir Putin, on the subject of mail-in voting beyond revealing. Yet another example, if one were needed, of Vlad playing him like a Strad.
