I did this arrangement for the 2024 Soundole Chill Out Cover Competition. I had a great time last year playing Persona 5, and I feel like so much of Shoji Meguro's soundtrack lends itself well to the chillout genre. My fifth annual chill cover! May is here, and so is @Soundole's 2024 Chill Out Cover Competition! Participants cover video game music in any relaxed, chilled-out style, which is quite the opposite from what I typically produce! I knew I wanted to cover a song from “Trickster Online,” one of my most nostalgic games with a very enjoyable soundtrack. I was debating heavily between several songs to cover, and I ended up going with my favorite song from there in what is perhaps a “chill house” style.
