This Jack Snipe was found on our reserve using a thermal imaging camera. Great to see and record it without disturbance.

Very heartening to see more Yellowhammer at Upper Hollowfields farm this morning. A dozen or so especially in the bird seed crop. Highest number for a long time. Also the first 5 Snipe in the scrape area now filled with water. #worcsbirds

One of each . Trumpeter Swans are endangered here partly due to the introduction of the Mute Swans , which is why they're tagged . They compete for territory and food . Sound like trumpets . And a Wilsons Snipe just for the hack of it .

Great fun doing a squelchy snipe search with @paulebirder.bsky.social at a misty Pincey Brook, Essex using his thermal imaging camera. Overnight rain had flooded site and couldn’t find any Jack though plenty of Common. Also Stonechat, Green Sand, 2 Redpoll and usual ducks

Which is better?

🚨 A Big Ras snipe vs. the Ducks?
or
🚨 A Razor game-winner vs. the Rangers?

Big vehicles kill because thats their best option for gathering stats. They're slow and can't fly. So offense is their best gathering style. Flying vehicles use another strategy. Gathering hard to reach power ups, swooping to snipe or gather, and being hard to hit once fast/flying.
