I've always known I'm a night owl. Ive only just recently realized 90% of my ideas come to me as I drift off to sleep at night. I don't remember them most of the time when I wake up the next morning.

Woken at 1.30 am by my washing machine, which turned itself on and was making dry retching noises. The door was open and it was switched off when I went to bed.

In my sleepstate, I honestly thought it was heralding the rise of the machines.
