Tried to run my game on my old old laptop.
It ran smoothly on small level, but horribly on the larger ones.
Started deleting objects one by one, performance was still sh*t.
Kept deleting until I was left with a single quad and a skybox - didn't help.
Skybox shader was at fault.

if you haven't seen The Witch Upstairs yet btw there is a joke where someone drives a vehicle into the distance and then crashes it into the skybox, causing the background to fall out of bounds
this is the most me-targeted joke in the world so if u like my sense of humour you'll like this

For those who've seen Winter's Bone, yeah ... its that soul sucking oppressive grey skybox in place atm, so going to reach out for a vibrant red rose shot from a month or so ago on this #RedWed.

I was looking at the old school skybox images for Mario 64, and sorta discovered I have a plethora of photography from a few years ago I took with various cameras, with some editing they make great trippy skyboxes...
