#skySplain
Excited to post my first #skySplain about our recent work published yesterday in Nature Genetics! www.nature.com/articles/s41.... One of the first authors of this study - Annika Vannan – actually wrote this breakdown, but she's not yet over here on bluesky and asked me to post!

early testing suggests this "skeetorial" feed might work...

For those who aren't on board with the naming, it finds tweetorial, blutorial, threaducation and skysplain, too.

Excellent hand-off! (Tbh I’m still wondering if there will be people who don’t read past the first sentence, and immediately try to skysplain Abrego Garcia’s hearings to me.)

Ok so can you Skysplain how you made this work? I couldn’t figure it out yesterday

Just saw someone use the term "skysplain" in the context of explaining a joke to someone to to the joke a little too seriously

I’m begging y’all to please use a term other than skeetorial. It is too close to that Lil Jon song.

Skytorial?
Blutorial?
Threaducation?
Skysplain?

Super excited to share our most recent work! Heart transplant rejection was a new area for me, but it's a disease I care deeply about. As some of you know my dad passed unexpectedly from heart failure in Oct. 2020 only a few days after he was informed he needed a transplant. 1/2

It's a douchebag that other douchebags think is edgy. It's completely childish, lacks empathy and smacks of gatekeeping. But hey, some other douchebag thinks its funny and will pseudo intelligently skysplain it.

Also friends. How do we feel about #SkySplain as the new #tweetorial? We brainstormed a new term as a lab and this is what we came up with!
