Swann recommends Swami Satchidananda’s English translation of the Yoga Sutras, which is $9.99 on Kindle. That’ll go well with my books from Yogananda, who really deemphasized the siddhis in his lineage, because they’re show-offish and get the ego sidetracked. They’re to be used only when beneficial.

IIRC the Hindus call these things Siddhis. The powers that are unlocked when one seriously studies a mystical path. Though they warn that though they can be used to bring great goodness into the world, they are also kinda like tests to see how we handle ourselves, and often can be a distraction.
