It’s an exercise in infantilization to do everything you can to prevent a student from taking a shortcut. Let them develop their own agency if they want to. Use your time as an educator to come up with assignments that are good on their own merits & not bc they flummox a probability machine.

#Tarot today: 4 and 7 of Swords. Cut yourself some slack. No one can be perfect, so you don’t need to be either. It’s completely acceptable to take the shortcut, the more pleasant path or the creatively unorthodox solution. Avoid struggles where you can and allow yourself to make your life easier.

This is the main reason why huge companies going out of their way to make AI generated stuff is so weird to me. Even if I was pro AI art, the whole point is that anyone can easily generate it. You spent millions of dollars for trained artists to make a beautiful game; why also sell the shortcut?
My logic is, if you can't be bothered to make an asset yourself why should I be bothered to care about it/collect it 🤷
Activision says it uses AI tools in Call of Duty to "empower and support" developers.
