#SEGAsaturnDay Afternoon folks
A common misconception with SEGA Saturn, is the cartridge slot behind the CD lid being backwards compatible with MD/Gen carts. It's actually designed to function with memory & RAM expansion on select games. Today even for Saroo ODE

Used it?

not me remembering that I can import Japanese Saturn games for like 20 bucks and patch them into English with my Saroo. depression cured.

Love my Saturn 🥰

It's got a SAROO Cart in it too.

Gotta update some games inside it and get the Torimaru translation.

Saroo working again, testing out Super Tempo, and I'm sorry, this guy just has his dick out? Just whipped it right out and started pissing.

I guess this frustration combined with the words of Nintendo and Sony fanboys resulted in this reputation. I think that all we can do is to show how great the Saturn is. For example on the next retro event I'll bring my Saturn with my Saroo. So that guy and some other people can play Burning Rangers

Yeah, graphically it's pretty similar to Virtual On, and that's another game I should probably add to the Saroo.

Even if it requires proprietary bin files, adding PhotoCD and MPEG decode support to the Saroo has the long term potential to make it a true all-in-one solution for 100% compatibility with Saturn's library

The Saroo is amazing! Enjoy it!

How does the saroo stack up? Should I get that instead? I'd like to see a vs shootout on the channel

OoooO, I didn't know that. I'm going to look for a back-up plan just in case and look for the Japanese Saturn. I didn't know Saroo could get around region blocks. That changes things.

Messing around with the Saroo on my day off. It's a Saturn accessory that lets you boot games from an SD card. You can also save directly to the sd card and it acts as a RAM cart for games that use one. It's a really useful little cart!

The saroo does not work with my mainboard. The problem is known but the fix is not very easy. Sucks. But can still burn The games.

Added a saroo to my Sega Saturn today. Gotta love how easy it is to use!

You want anything that can be put on a saroo or you want recs for games that are affordable?
