We live on the Sandusky Bay. We see them in spring and fall. One was found injured a few days ago, was rescued and is currently being rehabbed

One of the most formative political experiences for me was being at Penn State during the Sandusky trial and seeing so many of my classmates make excuse after excuse. They RIOTED when Paterno was fired

Anyway, (sadly, because it is all horrific) depending on the victim, some perpetrators become jokes and some become pariahs that no one wants mentioned again. The difference between a Nugent a Kelly or a Sandusky.

the fact that child marriage is literally legal in over 40 US states and also all over the globe, jimmy saville, roy moore, brett kavanaugh (honorary mention for literally being in the epstein emails), US military sexual violence in Iraq and Afghanistan, jerry sandusky, r kelly, it never ends

And a happy Penn State morning to you all as well. The law that exempts "state-related" colleges (initially PSU and Temple, Pitt and Lincoln added later iirc) from open records laws was passed Feb 2008, grand jury investigating Sandusky empaneled 2009

While Jerry Sandusky preyed on college bound teen boys and got a 60 year sentence. He hopped the fence.

We rate Jerry Sandusky high on creating a zone blitz, low on

don't make the mistake of thinking that just bc homeless kids are considered free game because they're not anyone's "property" that rape culture cannot still be mobilized in *other* to protect abusers like sandusky and countless others

"Laura" by Pat Sullivan and Otto Messmer, 1926-1935

Legally speaking I have questions. After the Paterno/Sandusky fracas, every single faculty- and staffmember of the entire Penn State system legally became a mandated reporter. Was no one in the entire NYT ecosystem a mandated reporter (even for some other gig--it doesn't stop at the doorway)?
Can we circle back to the part where the NY Times never disclosed that they have incriminating information on Donald Trump from sent by Epstein that's been sitting on their email servers for nearly a decade?
Stuff like this makes me wonder why there hasn't been any reporting about Trump having affairs during his presidencies

That’s if it resembles the Penn State locker room from the Jerry Sandusky era. 🤢

The first quarter of the 21st Century in America has essentially been defined by exposure of child rape.

Early 2000s and the exposure of what had been happening in the Catholic Church.

Late 2000 to mid-2010s Sandusky, Nassar, Hastert etc. cases.

Everything ongoing with Epstein.

Jenny, we've all seen this show before, when Penn State's rock spider web was publicly exposed... Graham Spanier, Gary Schultz, Tim Curley & Joe Paterno, all bold faced lied too & were caught committing perjury to protect that boy raping rock spider, Jerry Sandusky, at least they were charged. ⚖️👊

On the north shore of Lake Erie there's a gigantic greenhouse lit with a warm red glow.

It shines bright enough you can detect it from the Ohio side of the lake as a red beam that lights low clouds.

I know this because daily someone posts it to Ohio aurora watching groups, thinking it's the lights

I feel ya! Hopeful to see some in the future too, the closest furbowl (that I've attended) was in Sandusky. We need more diversity with the meets!
I want to meet more people and socialize and make friends but I am so awkward, just need to expose myself to more social situations haha
