Erika from the Pokemon Special manga dressed in a fancy Met Gala-style outfit for the Pokemon Special Discord Gala Event in 2023. Here’s the blurb I wrote for her outfit: "Erika went from being Celadon City’s princess to the Kanto Gym Leaders’ supervisor, so her outfit, inspired by forest guardians and fairies, is meant to make her appear both elegant and strong! She recycled the lavender veil and ribbons Duck gave her in 2020, but used red and yellow flowers to represent the two dex holders who she ultimately put her faith in. As she later became a university professor, gold tassels are tied to the crown. Her top is based off of her usual kimono, with a Rainbow Badge attached to ribbons that resemble the badge energy villains often stole it for. Other parts of her outfit are based off of her Pokemon team (Bellsprout armbands, Vileplume/Bellossom skirt, etc). She also brought her quiver, disguising her arrows as tulips. Her dress is decorated with crystal dewdrops and rhinestones as a nod to her closest allies throughout, Misty and Brock."
