i'm still alive! here's concept art i did for @rubyco.bsky.social :D as always i love getting to work with him and its always fun throwing ideas at the wall and seeing what sticks. keep an eye out for what these got turned into!

concept art of Ruby from Skyblock Kingdoms in a winter outfit. they have a winter jacket with a fur-lined hood over a black turtleneck, rolled-up pants, and snow boots. one version has their normal colors, while another is tinted blue and a bit softer. the alternate version has their hair fade to white, and their boots are based off their outfit on Twitch SMP. there's also concepts of them with a beanie, with a purple version of Leon's scarf, and with a winter hat with ear flaps. a small doodle of Leo the Allay says "It's cold rn so my inspiration is "What would I have to wear to not die" lmfao" concept art of Ruby in an End-inspired outfit. their initial concept is them wearing a purpur-colored suit jacket with red and blue sleeves, long pants, and purple sunglasses that look like Enderman eyes. next to that is another take where they have a mimic version of Leon and Avid's Enderman curse, which gives them claws and dark staining on their hands, feet, and side of their face. an arrow pointing at it says "Arcade's idea", and in the corner is a doodled argument between Matt and Arcade. Matt says "You can't make them an Ender Dragon." and Arcade shouts "But I wanna!" the rest of the Ruby concepts are using the human version. There's a variant where they have chorus fruit stains instead of the Enderman curse, and a version where the colors are swapped so they have a purpur undershirt and black suit jacket.

Skyblock Kingdoms comic. Leo the allay says "Tonight I will listen to furry breakbeat" and is clueless about what's about to happen. he's interrupted from what he's doing by Rubyco's clock bouncing off his head with a loud "bonk" and squeaks in distress. he holds it in his hands with a startled expression as Ruby themself leans in from off-panel and says "You're in charge of the flow of time for a few hours so I can eep. Have fun!" it zooms in on Leo's face as Ruby says "Don't piss off Nav too much. And uh don't kill the universe. Have funsies :D" Leo looks like he's about to have a nervous breakdown.
