#replacing
This is because "AI" is the word we use to describe any instance of computer controlled movement in a game, like an enemy fighting back! But instead, these fuckheads are using that word and society at large is instantly replacing it with what we know as "Generative AI".

Just a small update to my game's logo and capsule images (giving them more breathing room, replacing old cube with a mouse that's in the game now) resulted in significant uptick in my daily wishlist gain.

I was putting it off since a year. Let that be a lesson to all you

As someone who makes digital music, I can make an entire piece of music without collaborating with another person or even picking up a physical instrument. But if I apply the same argument against AI, it feels morally wrong. I am replacing the human element.

If I want to be reductive, I could argue

Trumpcare is merely the absence of Obamacare. The foolish people proposing replacing the Affordable Care Act, known commonly as Obamacare, with absolutely no concrete plan, are pandering to the worst instincts of their base of voters. To replace healthcare with nothing to please racists is mindless.

Every interview with every Republican should start with the question what are you replacing Obama care with. It’s now a decade past the two weeks It was supposed to take Donald to provide the plan.

And when actors went on strike over AI protections - literally fighting the bots - they wrote satirical dialogue to explain absences that was fully aligned with their own world-building, instead of replacing them with AI, or other actors.

Cognitive assonance, so cool, so classy, so appreciated 😭😭😭
The insight and emotion you can get from a real actor can't be replicated by ai. And that's without accounting for what an actor can provide via collaboration.

Like, Helldivers 2 is a great game. But it is ELEVATED by the scenery chewing VA they were able to invoke from their actors.

So funny! 😀. I just watched a Liam Neeson film on Netflix, Ice Road: Vengeance. He was shot there and he had time to spend the day replacing an axel on a bus before he collapsed.

Also replacing brownstones on major avenues and crossstreets with the fabulous prewar apartment building that make up much of the UES and UWS.

I think Valve genuinely has a shot at replacing Xbox as one of the major console manufacturers, especially now that Xbox has all but dipped out and the new Steam hardware seems to be further blurring the line between PC and console gaming

That sucks. Unwanted holes in gear you really like is hella sad. I am a nomad or something, because I hate replacing things if I really like them. 😛🫂

memories and personalities; but Will's astral drop is imperfect, she doesn't have og Will's memories. This is because Will is scared of her astral drop replacing her in the human world. So astral drop Will barely remembers the instructions Will gave to her about what to do in the daily; she barely

FTA: "Forming new bonds with other people also helps. Doing so is essential. You’re not replacing the person who’s gone. You’re going on living. You can’t just retreat into an ever shrinking circle. You have to expand again." (c)

Serious talk in the dojo of replacing me with an inflatable tube man.

And before you say "he can't be that dense, there's no way AI is ready or even capable of replacing the majority of the workforce" please remember how he is giving his own broke followers absolutely nothing but racism and has literally gone out of business more times that he can remember.

Replacing this with the picture of anime boys at the Ginza Discotheque?

Replacing the hapless Keith with any of his current cohorts would make negligible difference.

A radical change is Labour’s only thin hope now.

Falcom’s put me in charge of creating a new theme song for the next Ys entry, but I’m just taking the Buck Bumble theme song and replacing every instance of “Buck Bumble“ with “bump combat”

I believe that Valve replacing Xbox as the third pillar of the "big three" has less to do with the company's desire to push itself into that role and more to do with how much Xbox continues to shoot itself in the foot, considering this retail divide is lessened the more retailers that drop Xbox.
The very important thing to remember when talking Valve and its ceiling compared to, say, Microsoft, is that you can not walk into a Walmart and buy a Steam Deck. You have to be enough of an enthusiast to know what it is and where to find it. That's the #1 thing holding Valve back.
