No such thing as green/renewable energy folks. Strip mining is horrific.

That is for sure. He doesn’t have money invested in renewable energy.

NPR said Trump is trying to “slow” the renewable energy industry. That’s crap! He’s trying to destroy it for purely personal reasons. This is policy built on stupidity and pure willful ignorance. Trump is unfit to serve.

exposure to sectors most sensitive to fiscal spending and infrastructure investment. Construction, renewable energy, and industrial automation may benefit from government priorities, while rate-sensitive sectors face more limited tailwinds compared to previous recovery cycles.

The Greens policies are nowhere near as radical as those of the Labour Party. Labour’s Green New Deal will give us energy security, cleaner air, good green jobs, economic prosperity and fast progress to Net Zero. The Greens will be complaining about the necessary renewable energy infrastructure.

A chart showing how the USA will be left behind on renewable energy due to Republicans.
Een van de eigenaardigheden is de gedachte van sommigen dat China het wat betreft hernieuwbare energie zoveel beter doet dan de EU. Welnee !

Hope for a new future

If we want to be a world leader in clean renewable energy then we need to stop wasting money on filthy old fuels and invest in people and projects for the next generation

Again just fact free nonsense. Japan and the US were the leading solar power developers in the 1990s, Germany's industry was in fact rather small. It's rise didn't start until after 2000 with the Renewable Energy Act.

Think of it like a cow’s stomach! 🐄

Bacteria break down #organic #waste without oxygen 🦠

Great little thread.

What is shocking under Trump is that the US has basically forfeited any attempt on competing with China on several key future markets
- renewable energy
- battery technology
- EV

And basically put all its eggs on AI (plus one side bet - global climate self-destruction).
Enjoying this report by David Hart who argues that the smarter strategy for the US is to compete with China in the EV space. Electric vehicles are a superior technology & will eventually displace ICE vehicles. Abandoning the contest will leave the US behind. www.cfr.org/report/compe...
Compete, Don’t Retreat

Renewable generation and discharging storage equalled 53% of yesterday's electricity demand, with a peak of 65% at 23:45. Fossil fuel generation (mostly gas) equalled 35% of demand. 0% of generation was exported, 14% of demand was met by imports.

-consider good or useful, until you are left with nothing but "olive cake." However, if you look closer, you may find that leftover pit, skin, and pulp are a clean, reliable, renewable energy source. More than just a husk. There is still potential for great things.

The Spanish Empire, then the Dutch conquered the world with sailing ships. Then the British succeeded them with coal and steam. Then in the 20th century USA succeeded Britain with oil. Now China is going to succeed the US with renewable energy, EVs, and AI (powered by that renewable energy)

No matter what’s going on, there’s always a slur, direct or indirect, about renewable energy in anything the Nats say. Even in this unhinged rant, supposedly about antisemitism, he manages to sneak it in. It’s their contractual obligation with Gina.

Did you know that here in Australia, our main energy grid is already powered by more than 40% renewable energy?

More wind and solar power backed by storage is the fastest way to bring down power bills, and the only way to secure a safer future for our kids and communities.

So let’s keep at it! 💚💚💚
