I’m asked this all the time about my quiltmaking practice. I want to ask, “what do you mean how do I have time? I make the time. It’s the thing I do.”

This #LittleFreeLibrary find is the classic #TheBerenstainBearsandMama'sNewJob by #Stan&JanBerenstain. The whole family makes adjustments when Mama turns her quiltmaking hobby into a new business. Readers may see similarities in their lives.

Hey @moderation.bsky.app: On #Quiltsky, there is a person who is posting a TON of bed ensembles for sale. If I wanted to shop bedspreads, I would go elsewhere. This is NOT what quiltmaking is all about. Can you please take it off so that real quilters can share their creativity in community? Thanks.

Second is this cute little Japanese book "A Dictionary of Color Combinations" by Sanzo Wada. A very popular color inspiration book, which can be used for painting, interior design, quiltmaking, sewing and so on. As you can imagine, it will come in handy when selecting fabrics for a quilt project

I’m prepping a short slideshow for the docents at the Art Center, to help them know about me, quiltmaking, and my quilts. It’s only 121 slides for the 45 minutes. Seems a-ok. Definitely going to cover it all without rushing. (I forgot to include I’m a C on DiSC profile, because it won’t be obvious.)
