I'm torn on the Python IDE thing. PyCharm was perfect, but fuck them if they're going to just steal code from people to train AI.

Spyder is fine but requires its own packages.

I LOVE pyzo and its default source program structure thing, plus it's super lightweight, but it has no linting at all.

Hello World!

#100DaysOfCode Day 3 - (Days 1 and 2 were uneventful and I hadn't created this yet.) Conditionals, Casting, and Cases! Nothing too new here for me but I did pick up a couple small PyCharm tidbits I didn't know about.

Made an adventure game as the final day's project.

hmmm that's a good question (I don't usually use PyCharm but it's something I'll remember to check with students). Any I should steer towards or away from?

Visual Studio + UE5 might be the worst workflow integration I've ever seen. Constant Intellisense red flags, no include lists, etc

I don't remember it being this bad in UE4. I'm going to give Rider a shot since I adored PyCharm, but I really wish the out-of-the-box option worked

I haven’t had this problem with PyCharm (or DataGrip) myself; but I also don’t use the IDE to eg manage the installation or anything.
