Unfortunately, I have never seen a mammoth while hiking on the #IceAgeTrail. I may have hiked overtop of them without ever knowing it though.

The 1929 Grover/Smith Cabin is located along the Rawley Point Recreational Trail in the Point Beach State Forest. In front of the cabin is a small sign explaining when it was built and when it was restored (2003).

The night sky on the beach along the #PointBeachStateForest. You can see light pollution from three Michigan cities all the way across Lake Michigan. The cities producing this light are -from left to right- Manistee (57 miles away), Ludington (55 miles away), and Muskegon (90 miles away).
