There's plenty of instances, but I decided to share this piece that has a bit of #PhilosophyOfMathematics and what it is like to understand a maths proof. I still think the writing here is quite hamfisted.

“I still don’t quite understand why what you said is a proof that there’s an infinite prime numbers” He looked at her confused face. “Don’t worry. Your understanding will get there. Understanding is this thing between knowledge and belief. We believe that there are an infinite prime numbers — like we believe that there’s the waterfall. We have the knowledge of what makes a prime number — just like we know where we are at any given point in time. We have a proof that there are an infinite prime numbers — just like your mum and I guiding you and your siblings to the waterfall. But what you don’t quite have is an understanding of why the proof works. That’s a bit like not having a map while having guides. You can get to the waterfall, but you have no idea how to get there without guides. But one day you will. Mathematics is not so much the knowledge, but the understanding and the beliefs.”
