Flying out and I have to say TSA was the friendliest I've ever experienced. Working without a paycheck for over a month, I think the only people who keep coming to work are the people who like their job and believe in what they are doing! A huge thank you to them all and the air traffic controllers!

The Supreme Court decision is becoming a mega-drama. Trump - as Mr Bump says in the article - is trying to edge the Supreme Court into a position between the American people and a $2k paycheck. Also this week he's talked about $3tn of disruption costs.
But the Court IS sceptical. Will they fold?

There's lots of worthless dumb shit we get forced to do for a paycheck, but it serves no purpose. What benefit would be lost to humanity if pushy sales call centers went offline? Or payday loan companies? None I can think of, aside from all those people out of jobs and unable to eat.

Acceptable to rip away healthcare for a paycheck…that’s choosing one evil over another but go off!
Republicans: I’ll starve your people unless you let us take away healthcare.
You: Take my healthcare so I can be allowed to eat again.

How are you going to make this right? Holding rallies and calling out the President? Veterans are being denied claims for disabilities and told they are not off as bad as they are, yet Congress is on a 5 week vacation collecting a paycheck. Are veterans really important to you or are we just pawns?

Ok. I can see that. I assume (outside of wanting to be liked) that she keeps going back bc it’s nice to be famous & have her own paycheck. I totally get he wouldn’t understand the fun of the fame part but surely he can see how having her own money might make her feel good? Thoughts?

If you don't think about it too much, this sounds kinda great. You easily send in 100 auditions to land one VO gig that pays abysmally and that is hours and hours of work. Why wouldn't you want to join this cutting edge way to make money off your voice? Why not wake up to a paycheck?

If they are so critical to safety, why did they just miss their second paycheck? Pay ATCs, don't punish them for being overworked, demoralized, stressed out and having to work as Doordash drivers, you WH crooks.

And no troops waiting for a paycheck—and no schemes where a billionaire steps in to pay troops directly (one of the most bonkers policy proposals in all of American history, whose major problems have been obvious for literally thousands of years).
Unsurprisingly, didn't happen. Now Jan 31 it can't.

In 2008, i got married and wanted to have kids.
I had to buy my own health insurance for me and my husband (he was out of work thanks to the Great Recession). I paid $700/ month for both of us. It was half my paycheck for the cheapest most basic plan. We debated

The ACA is one of the most significant healthcare reforms in American history.
The ACA expanded the coverage to millions of people .
It has protected people with preexisting conditions.
Young people in college can stay on their parent’s plans.
Why do republicans hate it ?

Republican politicians with gold standard healthcare telling Americans they don’t need affordable healthcare.
A lot has happened, but not much has changed.

Reagan cut the education budget by 20%. Now 60% of Americans reading/writing at a 5th Grade level. 1 in 3 of these are at an 8 year old level. No critical literacy skills. 70% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck. Work 2-3 jobs over 6-7 days. Pay rent & skip meals so their kids can eat.
You’re absolutely right. The fact that public education is massively underfunded is a major factor. The education level of our country is failing. And it has been for the last 50+ years. And it’s on purpose.

Perhaps you should have offered to pay their daycare & gas.
You don’t get to judge them for not being able to afford TO WORK GOT FREE!
Do you live in the green zone barracks. Did you miss a single paycheck? They still have house payments.
