also, there's no such thing as a non-resident passkey. It's just a non-discoverable (old: non-resident) WebAuthn credential.

TIL how passkeys work and how to generate them so I can populate my DB with a user and reuse that passkey in my test. It took me 2 days to get this to the point that I think it's ok-ish. I'll try and make a blog post about this later. But it will also be in the next tutorial I'm working on too.

Both google password manager and iCloud keychain will only let a site or app drop a passkey if you already have a saved password with that site or app.
If you really dislike that, there's a setting you can toggle.

うぉー、android chrome の 3rd party passkey の問題直った！ 直接 passkey の問題じゃなかったけど、1Password 側の設定し直しで問題がバイパスされたのかな？ ってかまだ１台目しか直ってないけど

I'm going to say I'm 11.5/12 on these. I agree two factor is annoying. I even agree that not everything needs more than a password, if there's no private information. But I just want to turn that one into "have proper passkey support" instead.

Safari ki tudja tölteni a kódot az emailból, ha jól küldik el. Viszont ha a formon nincs megfelelően beállítva az autocomplete, akkor másolgatni kell mindent.
