I may be about to embark on this for the Moon is Waxing because it is more like seasons of a series than an actual novel. I also have a bunch of shorts for the Pagosa Cliffs series that will eventually become a collection.

You are correct. Move to Pagosa during Covid before relocating to Canada.

From a constituent in 📍 Pagosa Springs, CO
An Open Letter
Gentlemen: An impassioned plea to my representatives seems increasingly like an exercise in screaming into the void these days. Nonetheless, persistence pays off - or so my mother told me. This weekend, we witnessed three specific elements from the Trump administration that were indicative of absolutely unhinged actions by the Trump administration. Any of these three should signal absolute alarm bells and calls to IMMEDIATE action by the Congress. First, the admission by French and Ukrainian intelligence operatives, including Vincent Crouzet, that deliberately planted information was provided to Trump and his administration, which promptly found its way back to the Kremlin, signals an absolute compromise at the highest levels. We have not seen a violation like this by the United States, towards its NATO partners, since the formation of the Alliance in 1949. It is a story, that in any other time in American history, would have ended this administration *immediately*. Second, the communication to the Prime Minister of Norway this weekend, may have been the most embarrassing correspondence by any Commander-in-Chief since the formation of this Republic. It is written by a man whose thought processes clearly make no logical sense; it is grammatically disastrous, and it seems to be an attempt to verbalize his insane justifications to his lowest tiers of supporters. It is a representation of America's foreign policy - but written by someone with the reading and writing comprehension of a 12-year-old child, and it is coming from a man who has control of 750 megatons of thermonuclear weapons. Lastly, Stephen Miller's public statement "Only federal officers are upholding the law. Local and state police have been ordered to stand down and surrender." Gentlemen, it gets NO clearer than this. There is no sense in arguing any other semantics. This is a direct challenge to all rule of law, by a non-elected individual. His actions to send in a private security force, that has no qualms about disregarding any civil liberty, and any element of the Constitution granting inalienable rights to citizens. He is challenging any and every authority - state, local, national guard, any entity attempting to uphold the Constitution and civil order in our cities. Any of these three elements from the last 96 hours alone signal just cause in invoking Articles of Impeachment OR the 25th Amendment. He has allowed Miller to violate basic Constitutional Rights of citizens. He has committed High Treason with America's longest standing Adversary. And he has threatened the PM of a sovereign ally by using wild claims - claims that are indicative that his comprehension of global geopolitics is, objectively, at the level of an average middle school student. In summary, I cannot stress enough how this concern doesn't originate from partisan politics in any way. I am a constituent that evaluates public service based on action and merit, not by party. These actions do not fit any measure of proper conduct in any free society; they are vehemently un-American, they resemble, very closely, Fascist Germany - and this is no coincidence. Our present course and speed leads to the complete destruction of American civil order and society, from every front. It is not hyperbole, and the evidence speaks for itself... Domestically, from traditional adversaries, and from our former allies alike. Gentlemen - please prioritize your actions NOW - TODAY - towards a coalition to bring whatever Articles are most appropriate to the floor(s). And to Representative Hurd specifically - I beg of you - *please* consider your constituents, their safety and prosperity, and the future of this country - above your party. This is about American lives, not about the advancement of a political agenda. Respectfully,
