I don’t think you would actually like 1944 taxation. It gets very overhyped by people just looking at the “top rate” and nothing else. It was FAR easier to work around paying that rate and almost no one ever did.
It would probably be better to just want higher rates than to use that as an example

I've decided that I don't mind spoilers, but I do not like vague hints. Either fully spoil me or don't say anything. If it's really exciting I'll find out when I read it or watch it. If it's overhyped then it's just disappointing.

Absolutely the same sense I get from her. It feels deliberately alienating, like it's trying to push the blame on the person for not getting it. AI booster's use of the term 'luddite' clearly going for a similar angle. It's just so obviously so overhyped maddening really is the right word.

i like Smiling Friends just fine, I think it is a bit overhyped and underexamined in some ways, but HHYC is so insanely my shit. Completely harmless low stakes plot lines, voices that plant ear worms in my brain, the strange way it reflects reality. Great stuff from Joe Cappa and team
