BISHKEK, Jan 10 (NNN-KNA) – Kyrgyz anti-drug authorities, seized more than 136 kg of drugs from a transnational organised crime drug trafficking group, it was reported, yesterday. According to the Anti-Drug Trafficking Service, of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, the group had long been involved in the smuggling and sales of Afghan-origin drugs, through Kyrgyzstan, on a large scale. Seven members of the organised drug group were arrested, and one other individual was identified and placed on the international wanted list.
