orcaslicer's doing great rn
preset selection box in orcaslicer with "0.15mm Standard @Prusa MK3.5 0.4 no..." selected. the dropdown menu is open and where there should be text, the letters are replaced with rectangles with the width corresponding to however wide the letter should be in the font

I do think I have to print it hotter than OrcaSlicer stock, though. The layer bonds are not the legendary "you tried to break this? that's cute" that people talk about, the stovepipe broke right off the top of the boat when TPUs would be barely inconvenienced.

I wish BambuStudio, PrusaSlicer, OrcaSlicer, and Cura could all agree to work towards using standards compliant 3mf as much as possible instead of creating proprietary data structures inside 3mf. The current software interoperability is really poor. Too many flavors of 3mf exist.

Took me 4 attempts to print this off using #asa on my #centauricarbon

I've ended up increasing bed temp to 100C, lowering Z-height by 0.2mm and using 15mm brim

#3dprinting

Its part of this project to customise how the lid works […]

Well, that worked. No issues on the Elegoo Centauri Carbon with its 256x256mm bed, printing 200x200mm model. Pause set for colour change via OrcaSlicer.
3 magnets to glue into the holes in the base next.

I love Orcaslicer, I really do, but sometimes it makes the silliest filament change decisions I've ever seen.
Though the problem is extremely likely to be BambuSlicer's fault and not Orca's at all.
