I like it, fairly similar color scheme to the Dinosaur King model of Olorotitan (well in regards to it being mostly dark grey with white parts and a colored crest)

A late cretaceous hadrosaur with remains found in Russia. Its name means " titanic swan " with the reason being that it had more neck bones compared to other hadrosaurs. Swans themselves have a similar condition when compared to other waterfowl.

Un estudio en 'iScience' reveló que fósiles de Olorotitan presentan fracturas óseas causadas por apareamientos violentos, lo que aporta nuevas claves sobre la reproducción de dinosaurios.

Good eye lol. Yeah olorotitan is one of my favorites, really should draw them more. plus I was able to find a decent amount of good art to reference without much hassle, so that was a bonus.

Here, have some megafauna with names that start with O. Olorotitan and Ocnotherium (the latter is the ground sloth in the foreground).

so the injuries present in the art are based on cf. edmontosaurus MOR 3003 (which is restored as olorotitan for reasons i cannot explain), and the supplemental info provides further detail on the nature of the pathologies present in the specimens
November 4, 2025 at 5:48 PM
it seems that hadrosaurs were getting a little freaky with it 🤔 bertozzo et al. propose that the prevalence of tail pathologies in hadrosaurs suggests that these injuries were incurred during procreation
