OrbQuest: The Search For Seven Wards (1986)

A barebones CRPG for early gen Macs, which makes excellent use of the window/dropdown mechanics of the platform, with visuals to match.

Also the main reason why I went through the hassle of setting up an oldMac virtual machine install.

OldMacのMacOS 7.x-8.x辺りにドキュメントメーカーっていうテキストをスタンドアローンのアプリにするフリーソフトが（記憶違いでなければ）有った。フリーソフトのマニュアル等に使われたいたのだけど、当時のネットアングラ的な世界で「怪文書」をマトメてその形式でフリーソフトとして流通していた時代があった。相当の眉唾ものだけど面白くて新しいのが出る度に集めていた気がする。で検索したらテキスト版のサイトは残っていて驚いた（苦笑）

Mini vMac is the easiest oldMac emulator to use, but it’s pretty barebones and settings don’t persist after closing it.

So, for example, I have to drop my system drive image into it every time I use it. There’s no real install.
