Had a full-on dog party this weekend puppy-sitting my son & DIL’s two furballs, Diesel & Ryley. Add in our two, Odin & Loki, & we had 350 lbs of wagging tails & slobbery kisses. Luckily they’re all best buds.

The best part is we get to do it again next weekend!!

Odin pie came to visit Gigi for a bit this morning. He's such a sweetheart. Here he is laying on the floor and reaching up to hold my hand. I know golden retrievers are generally good dispositioned but I don't think I've ever met such a gentle dog. Miss Remy, the multi colored pup in profile as she lays on my leg during a snuggle session. Miss Remy looks sadly at the camera and wants to know who will stop the rain...

Odin the golden hung out with Gigi this week so she could take him to the vet for his annual heartworm test. Odin is the gentlest dog ever. A bit of a goof but the bestest boy! AnnieBelle the black and white border collie and Remy the new multi colored puppy sit and wait for their morning treat stick, what good girls!!! Betsy, the goldish brown girl with white and Klyde is goldish brown with blonde sitting and waiting for their morning treat stick. Remy the new puppy is learning to play fetch. She is multi colored with browns, reds, one foot with a white boot on a back leg, some reddish blonde, and merle speckled throughout and heavily on her back.

After picking up my new fur friend, she didn't seem like a Java, Cappuccino, or others I contemplated. She didn't respond to any of those or a couple others but she consistently turned her head and came when called for one name, I introduce to you. Ms. Remy

Remy, the new puppy sits pretty. She is 8 weeks old and sits for training treats already. Has been going potty outside so far and is a sweet, smart, and sassy little doll. She is a brindle type with some merle coloring on her top coat with big brown eyes a few splashes of white fur and a lovely disposition. She even knows enough to keep the distance from her grumpier older siblings. They'll come around but they're older and whippersnappers annoy them a bit. Remy really loves the outdoors and playing with her fur uncle Odin the golden. Here she is running back toward the camera and got caught mid jump. Remy and Uncle Odin the golden standing in the yard on the grass with the hills lit up with the golden sunset color in the background. Betsy, the gold and white girl and Klyde the brownish gold boy sit on the ottoman looking sulky. They're not exactly thrilled about the new puppy addition but they will adapt. Part of AnnieBelle the border collie can also be seen on the dog bed in the background. She is a meanie and doesn't like herself so she'll learn to tolerate the puppy but she's a odd dog anyways. Also a very jealous one.
