If you don’t know, the skinny on the irl Jade Rabbit is that he makes the immortality potion for the moon goddess! (I haven’t dug into the archon lore well enough to pick one of Genshin’s deities properly yet, but I am borrowing the really basic concept) #ocMeiyu
A sketch continuation of the previous post between my OC Meiyu and Genshin Impact Character Changsheng. They are in opposite corners having a quick back and forth dialogue that reads: Meiyu: Sorry, he’s… what? Changsheng: here. Meiyu: here? Changsheng: here. Meiyu: Now? Changsheng: Yes. Now. Meiyu: here? Changsheng: here. Meiyu: in my shop? Changsheng: this shop. Continuation of the previous panel, in a slightly more cartoonish style to exaggerate her exasperation. Meiyu puts her paws in front of her face, palms pressed together, and inhales deeply. The text reads: INHALE A continuation of the previous panel. Meiyu transforms into something taller, and more human like, but fairly obscured. Fabric drapes from her form, and the transformation is demonstrations by the words: Poof, magic, wow. The herbal ingredients and cauldron disappear from the background. Changsheng looks on the scene smugly, thinking “he he he he.” There is a thought panel of Meiyu’s inner desire: Her rabbit form throttling Changsheng. A continuation of the previous panels A figure which is assumed to be Meiyu’s human form stands in the center. She is draped in a fancy hanfu with a floating pibo (a silken scarf/shawl) reminiscent of a goddess’s. She holds a lit pipe. The text reads: Meiyu: Bring him in, but know this is a waste of both of our time. One cannot do as you ask, whether One wishes or not. And One does not wish to, for the record.

1/2 More (really) rough sketches of my Jade Rabbit OC Meiyu. As an adeptus who has a weighty divine secret, she’s pretty far removed from human culture, and her thoughts are more in line with the pre-archon quest adeptus mindset about humans!! #genshinOC #ocMeiyu
