My relative, William Bettencourt, 1902-1967 was a high school teacher and co-authored textbooks for mechanical drawing. I wondered how many students remember using this textbook. His hobby was to collect wood nutcrackers from Europe. #Genealogy #BelmontMA

I use a pair of nutcrackers for opening screw top bottles, emptying tomato paste tubes and upon occasion unscrewing hot water bottles. Don't think that they've ever been used for their intended purpose.

Aren't these the same people whining about people buying lobster with SNAP? How much of that food is going to end up in the garbage at the end of the night? And who TF eats lobster claws at a function like that? Are they handing out nutcrackers to open them?
