Krubis was given his prosthetics early, to offset his genetic defects (missing limb + enigma syndrome-epilepsy type of disorder) and keep him busy as his living relatives feared he would become troubled due to the family's circumstances. self fulfilling prophecy. He is a full cyborg with many metallic innards that stabilize his issues with balance and seizures. The G3, at Nipulon's behest, covers most expenses and updates. Krubis is hesitant to spend money on even life saving maintenence, after all. Drawings: A baby krubis with closed eyes and a missing left arm labeled "bapy". A shot of Krubis sitting upright, shirtless and armor-less to reveal plating, ports and a control panel or similar device on his back. Krubis recovering from a seizure or perhaps experiencing the onset as Doug looks on uneasily. labeled "note: no perfect fix" in regards to the seizure-suppressing nature of his modifications Krubis joined the G3 on a "you break it you bought it" sort of deal - they nursed him back to health and gave him a "better""business opportunity" to make up for a cave in he accidentally caused while the sector of the mines he belonged to did work for the G3. As disillusioned as he is, he knows Garm and Nips saved his life. he feels very indebted to them both. especially Nipulon who he shares similar circumstances with. Nipulon even took Krubis in for a time while he got back on his feet . He fears and respects both but tends to side with Nipulon and trusts him to be more merciful - ironic, considering the man's reputation. They also met pre-translator microbe update for Krubis's language. Drawings: top right displays Krubis, helmetless, receiving disapproval and punishment from his previous boss as Nipulon and Garmantuous look on - with the implication that he's being given some ultimatum A simple sketch of Garm and Krubis without his helmet again. Garm simply observes Krubis and this makes him comically nervous The last sketch displays Nipulon comforting Krubis, who is wrapped in a blanket and bandages, within the context of the first paragraph. Nipulon looks worried and sympathetic as Krubis's facial expression is one of shock and defeat Krubis's dialogue is rendered as a string of squares, rectangles, triangles and small circles. Nipulon says, "idk what you're saying but we'll make this right. promise".
