But, Kafka has known that being a blood relative is heavier in the grand scheme of things so he gets why they have to stay with Yukikaze, their cousin. Besides, if being family matters more than being friends then all Kafka has to do is marry Kaede and they’ll be family, and they’ll both be able to stay at his place because they’re family. (Although, marriage means he’ll be relatives with Yukikaze too. Just the thought of the man calling him ‘brother’ without him being able to deny it because they really are, technically, brothers because marriage does that and that makes Kafka shudder.)"
