"Nightmail" is a compelling acid breakbeat with a ridiculous vocal sample he repeats so many times you it loses all meaning as speech.
I don't know how he does drums for this but they change up every bar, even if they're made from pieces of familiar breakbeats.

I love TwoMorrows' deep dives into obscure characters & they don't get much more niche than Marvel's Scarecrow (AKA Straw Man). I always thought the original concept was cool so it's a bummer that Scott Edelman never got to finish his story (and that Roy Thomas later ruined the concept & character).

There was actually another story about the Scarecrow in the works, to be rendered by Don Perlin, as evidenced by a plug in issue #10 of FOOM, the in-house Marvel fan club magazine, as well as surviving photocopies of the plot and the splash page Perlin drew for the story. Later in the COMPASS interview, Edelman noted, "I made a mention to Archie [Goodwin, new Marvel editor] that I'd like to attempt doing a backup feature of just one Scarecrow story because at the moment, the Scarecrow is in limbo. Marvel Two-in-One is not out yet, but in it, the painting is destroyed, Scarecrow is destroyed, and the brother everyone suspects of being the Scarecrow is missing. And that's how it ends. A blurb states, 'Is this really the end?' That being said, this has some of my favorite music of his from the recent era, available as an official release at last. The London LP. Nightmail. Pretend Analog Extmix. The Houston single which is borderline psytrance. Some of his highest recent highs. I just wish there was some extra value added.
