Built in a style that recent research in the field of neuroarchitecture shows increases levels of mental stress. humanise.org/opinions/his... <- A striking piece of research which could change what future buildings look like from the outside.

@greenpartyemma.bsky.social ...only I'm trying to persuade CamCitCo to commission a paper on neuroarchitecture & recent findings for our emerging local plan evidence base! 😁(eg Neurodiverse people are more sensitive to designs that generate mental stress. Like this application on Station Rd corner)

Great to see the stands, less sure about the buildings! The recent research in the emerging field of neuroarchitecture is striking. It shows many contemporary building designs increase levels of mental stress in our brains. humanise.org/opinions/his... < Worth asking #Localgov to host an event on it

I wonder if Anglia Ruskin could reassess their proposed grey box that will house their new creative quarter given the new research on neuroarchitecture cambridgetownowl.com/2024/01/02/a...
Anglia Ruskin’s proposed creative quarter is full of grey. Why?
Why have the architects chosen a grey colour scheme to replace the cladding on what already is an ugly building? TL/DR? See the Planning Portal here and type in the reference: 23/03907/FUL and feel…

Am still figuring stuff out here. Earlier on I found out why I kick off against the designs of new buildings in/around Cambridge. New research in neuroarchitecture shows they are more likely to increase mental stress in ND people. cambridgetownowl.com/2025/11/02/m...

The science is catching up to what trans people have always known. Gender isn't costume or confusion, it's neuroarchitecture, embodied identity.

The brain doesn't lie; it builds itself around truth. The tragedy is that prejudice still thinks it knows biology better than biology does.

Are you following the research of Dr Cleo Valentine and all things neuroarchitecture? www.arct.cam.ac.uk/research/phd... I gave a talk for Cambridge architecture students y’day (on local history of The Kite) & pointed them to her pioneering research which could have a huge impact on urban design.

fMRI/BOLD is bad proxy for neuronal signals but has given clues for a while. That together with anatomical neuroarchitecture had suggested to me something like that (also training in distributed computational circuits).
