Watercolor illustration of the Svalbard reindeer 🦌❄️— part of my Arctic mammals series.
I tried adding explanatory text — On my Redbubble shop, I proposed a more polished version ✨

Are you feeling down? Look outside and listen to a little sparrow singing. . Sometimes the wind is too strong, but it keeps living its life . . . doing what it’s supposed to do . . .
Blessings to you all . . .

Preparing new card designs for holiday art markets. Little things like greeting cards might not look that significant, but highly effective to spread word about native plant, conservation and me as an artist. How do you promote your art? Share your ideas!

While visiting the UK, I saw this adorable young Canada goose, so I made a watercolor study in my @steamline journal

Today’s mission: Making an “hideous” looking bird magnificent. That sounds fun, doesn’t it?
Turkey Vulture is a proof that the planet operates in a very efficient way and it deserves a spot in my painting. 🤗
Peace 🙏🏼.

A male downy with his signature red cap. A section from the same painting I showed in the last post. Downy woodpeckers are cute and they appear in my paintings quite often 🤗.

This painting is all about the interdependence between natural elements in habitat. It shows why the message, “Leave Leaves Alone” is so important.

Busy with the last classes of ‘24 (in person & Zoom) and finishing up a few paintings.

Caudipteryx mama feedeing her young. I had so much fun drawing the little chicks. Some bird spezies have adorably ugly looking babies, and I imagine it was the same for dinosaurs

A perching spot for the dragonfly added. Grey headed coneflower “flower” is beautiful, but I love the seed head: a perfect one, a half eaten one. They appear to many of my paintings as “fillers” for the odd negative spaces. Finnishing this up.
