A Calliope hummingbird sits on a rose twig. We have no nesting Calliopes in Colorado, so this one is probably a young male migrating down from the PNW.

I have never had as many hummingbirds in my yard as I have this summer. They are so intent on feeding they don't pay any attention to me and my camera.
