Walney is about 11 miles long & *very* narrow, so it's really easy to adapt your walk. Add in an extra day to visit
@cumbriawildlife.bsky.social's #SouthWalney reserve & see if you can spot some seals! #KingCharlesIIIEnglandCoastPath #KCIIIECP #NationalTrails

🇬🇧 From Chertsey to Kingston is one of the prettiest stretches of the Thames, a blend of suburban and countryside.

At Shepperton several branches of the river converge, with a seasonal ⛴️ ferry to take you from one bank to the next. #Thamespath #Nationaltrails

What if we created a trail system connecting all our #NationalParks #NationalLandscapes #NationalParkCities #NationalTrails #NationalScenicAreas?

Here's a go using @slowwaysuk.bsky.social routes. And Eddie Jones + team have already started walking a version of it!

The King Charles III Coastal Path isn’t just a trail – it’s a walk through each regions' history, nature, and resilience.

Given the political origins of the #PennineWay and how much it has achieved for the nation, it was a surprise no #Defra Ministers attended the celebration of its pioneering 60 years. #NationalTrails
Pleased to attend an excellent national celebration to mark the 60th Anniversary of the #PennineWay60 today at the #DalesCountryMuseum. A hugely successful trail which was groundbreaking & visionary in the 1960s. #NationalTrails now cover 4000 miles in England
