Happy #NationalRescueDogDay! Have had 3 Golden Retrievers - two that were rescues.

We adopted Gus at 16 months old and he was the unofficial Mayor of the subdivision.

We adopted Charlie at 10 months old last Christmas via the NS Golden Retriever Rescue group. She is 98 cents short of a dollar!

Happy National Rescue Dog Day! This is our baby when we adopted him in 2016 and now. Cocoa changed our lives, made our hearts a bit fuller and is still as photogenic now as he was when Maria held him on her lap at the shelter. #nationalrescuedogday
