Another highlight from my local museum. The Low Ham Roman mosaic, from C4 CE, it’s the oldest object in Britain that tells a whole story, that of Dido and Aeneas.

Made a new friend today at a local museum. He’s a grotesque from around 1450 CE, (I think he’s a he, but can’t be certain) and is wonderful! Could use a visit to the dentist, though.
