Gee, that's so...sensible in a multicultural country.
(I wonder if the person would have been critical if the photo showed instructions in French.)

I love living in a multicultural city. I remember growing up and wondering why soy sauce came in the shape of little fish. I had never even heard of sushi let alone imagined one day I could get it anytime I want.

As far as I've seen, in NYC, not that many out here. It's a shame, we're multicultural 😆 Everyone lives in NYC 🙃

Whither smooth jazz multicultural drone bombing or golden fresco masked military police? Whither Obama super middle class professional martini austere hotel grey or golden tower pinstripe fresco pop diva yellow? Which flavor of fascism do you enjoy tonight ? Plantation architecture or baroque?

It amuses me that British racists are obsessed with the flag of #StGeorge. He wasn't English; he was Roman. He's the Patron Saint of Georgia. AND he's revered as a prophet in some Muslim texts. So really, he's as multicultural a symbol as you'll find anywhere. #ukpol

Yes, you were talking about AOC running the kind of campaign Mamdani ran.

But I can't see anyone adapting Mamdani's campaign statewide.

The multicultural vibrancy of the city, the in-person charismatic vitality, the scavenger hunt, the shared economic issues--those things don't transfer upstate.

From Yoshigoro Kimura's "Latest Hawaii Journey Guidance - A Free Immigrant's View of Hawaii" from 1904. He describes how Hawaii's major cities were not deserted paradises, but multicultural western cities, in which he describes children of various races as delinquents using the word "yankee".

I think a more multicultural society leads to better learning. Certainly the more languages you learn the better off your brain is!

I'm not sure we've ever successfully had a bi or multicultural society but definitely disconnection and poverty tanks learning.

I respectfully have to disagree with #4, New Mexico. It’s actually a blue state with a poverty problem. We are and always been a multicultural state with limited resources, but our citizens (for the very most part) are kind, compassionate and blue.
A 50 year mortgage is a stain on our society.

Why is so difficult to educate Americans about the FDR rationale! It explains how multicultural societies came to coexist. NYC is a testament to that, and the world loves it, and needs that to brush themselves off and manifest…

Paying homage to the brilliant author-illustrator Vanessa Brantley-Newton in this colored pencil/pan pastel/collage piece, who was my collage instructor at Storyteller Academy and inspired me to follow my heart and pursue my art! (Vanessa designed this wrapping paper for Target!) 🥰

"Omg can you believe she got 0 points!" Yes, because I understand how it's scored. It's win/lose per round. A unanimous vote for a win in a round is pretty common. "Omg it's insulting that people from [country/background" are doing this!" Breaking has been extremely multicultural for decades.

It's time for decent people to take down the flags, take down Reform, take down Farage, take down Jenrick, take down Robinson et al and get back to building a strong multicultural UK, in which all people are valued and welcomed.
We must stand together or we stand for nothing!

Outside of the KKK example how is this any different than sharing foods and experiences? Maybe it’s bc I work in a multicultural environment but we are always sharing with one another and I think it’s a beautiful thing.
Black ppl always want to include others in their cultural events. Do yt people invite you to the KKK marches? Do native Americans invite you to powwow’s? Do Mexicans invite you to the asada? NO!!! I really wish y’all would just stop ot.

Actually I get invited to plenty of quinces and asadas and ceremonies.

The "cookout" is often used as a metonym for our culture, but alot of us are multicultural and have multicultural connections within our community so this isn't a big deal as the internet makes it seem.
